Selangor FC is delighted to announce that the club captain, Brendan Gan has agreed a fresh deal and will remain as a Red Giants’ player for the 2022 season.

Since his move from Perak in 2020, Brendan has been an important figure at Selangor, not just as a footballer, but as a role model. 

He has been a symbol of inspiration here at Selangor FC with his optimism, drive and energy while battling cancer that has forced him to be on the sidelines the past 6 months. The skipper has been working hard to get back onto the field and will soon join the first team in training.

Brendan Gan is a beacon of hope for thousands of people and the club is proud to have him here at Selangor FC. We will continue to support him in his journey to get back where he belongs - on the field.

SFC is confident that Brendan will be back playing stronger than ever.
